THE LEGENDARY RELIABILITY OF DEUTZ AG ENGINES.
Undo the new, tapered cowl of the SAME Laser is the tireless Deutz TCD 2012 L6 engine, with turbo-intercooled forced induction with wastegate and DCR electronically controlled common rail injection with injection pressures up to 1600 bar. The injection system features two pumps integrated in the cylinder block and lubricated with engine oil. The tried and tested Deutz TCD 2012 L6 stands out for its extraordinary tractability, reliability and fuel economy, and delivers impressive torque right from the bottom end of the rev range.
SIMPLE, DEPENDABLE AND TOUGH.
The transmission offers extensive scope for configuration, to give you the perfect drive ratio for any task and in any situation. The standard configuration comes with electrohydraulically engaged all wheel drive and a 100% lockable rear differential, and an optional front differential lock. This variant is based on a 4 speed synchronised gearbox with 3 ranges and a reverse shuttle (also synchronised), for a total of 12+12 speeds. This may be supplemented with a creeper or supercreeper gear (the latter allowing a groundspeed of just 200 m/h at maximum engine speed), bringing the number of forward ranges available up to 16. Alternatively, the transmission may be equipped with a splitter, for 24 forward speeds.
COMPREHENSIVELY EQUIPPED WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE FEATURES.
In addition to the separate 43 l/min pump dedicated exclusively to the hydraulic steering and ancillary utility circuits, the new Laser features a 94 l/min primary hydraulic circuit pump, which feeds oil to the lift and to 2 (or, as an option, 3) double acting mechanically controlled distributors. As an option, the system may be equipped with an 131 l/min primary pump, with 3 distributors as standard (or 4, as a further option). The rear lift has a maximum lift capacity at the lower link ends of up to 6850 kg (increasable to 8600 kg as an option). The PTO variant comes with 540 + 1000 rpm modes as standard, or with 540 ECO + 1000 rpm modes as an option. An electrohydraulic PTO clutch is standard to ensure that implements are started smoothly and progressively.
EXTREMELY SIMPLE AND COMFORTABLE.
Whether on board the cab version or the variant with 4-pillar ROPS with sunshade roof, the driver zone of SAME Laser Stage III A tractors offers uncompromised comfort, space and ergonomics, with a driver featuring effective mechanical suspension, the adjustable rake steering column and a comfortable folding passenger seat. The cab is equipped as standard with air conditioning with 10 directional air vents. The two main cab air filters are situated to the sides of the roof, while an additional two recirculation filters keep already cooled air clean and contribute significantly to saving energy.
